I shall present to readers of our website short biography of Mr. Kazimieras Motieka:
During 1936-1937 studied at Aukštoji Panemunė primary school, 1937-1938 at Ukmergė primary school, 1938-1940 Kaunas Jesuits’ primary school, 1940-1941 Vilnius 1st gymnasium for boys, 1948-1949 Vilnius Gymnasium for Adults. From 1949 to 1950 Kazimieras Motieka studied at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, and from 1950 to 1951 at Leningrad State University, acquired qualification of a lawyer.
During 1954-1996 Public Procurator of Lithuanian SSR Prosecution Service, investigator of especially important case’s department, principal of Inquisition department.
During1960-1961 Public Procurator of Vilnius city Lenin district, from 1961 a lawyer. Participant of the Second USSR People‘s Deputy Congress(1989); First time after all period of soviet occupation he officially required to restore Independence of Lithuania in Kremlin Congress Hall.

Motieka office (until 2004), from 2 January 2004 Senior Partner of “Motieka&Audzevičius” Lawyer’s Office (founder of the firm), legal practitioner from 1959[2]. Specialisation in criminal law.
Chairman of the Lithuanian Bar Association (until 15 March 2002)[3]. Master of shooting sport. According to announcement made in 11 December 1988 at the meeting of Lithuanian Sport Society, he participated during restoration of National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Lithuania.
